Meet Anthony Corsini, CDR, USN (Ret.), DO, MHS
Medicine is his profession. Helping people feel better is his passion. Dr. Anthony Corsini is board certified in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Cytopathology, with experience in laboratory medicine, ambulatory and primary care medicine and psychiatry. His medical journey began through service, first in the U.S. Army as a laboratory specialist and combat medic and later in the U.S. Navy after entering medical school, subsequently serving for 25 years in healthcare.
But his passion for wellness is also deeply personal. Living with diabetes has given Dr. Corsini a different perspective—not only as a physician, but as a patient. Through the right combination of medication, better nutrition, regular exercise, and meaningful lifestyle changes, he has experienced firsthand how much our everyday choices can influence how we feel and function.
That experience is an important part of the philosophy behind Bayside Wellness & Vitality, the practice he shares with his wife, Vanessa. Together, they believe healthcare should feel personal. They take the time to listen, understand the whole person, and look beyond individual symptoms—considering medical history, laboratory findings, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and the many factors that can influence health and weight loss.
For Dr. Corsini, the goal isn’t perfection or a quick fix. Weight loss management and functional nutrition are a process and require patience along the way. It’s helping people understand their health, giving them the right tools, and supporting realistic changes that can help them feel better, function better, and live out their lives with greater vitality.
